One bedroomed flat Aberdeen swap to country
Hi,
I'm looking to swap my one bedroom flat for a one bedroom flat / house (or more) in the areas of Hatton, Balmedie, Cruden Bay or Newburgh (or surrounding areas). My boyfriend and I would like to live together but due to work commitments, etc, Aberdeen will no longer be suitable for us.
I have a one bedroomed flat rented by a Housing Association (swap with Council is possible). Have lived here since May 2008 so all decor and carpets are less that a year old.
Top floor flat (3rd floor) with 7 other flats in the building. In Victoria Road, Torry (but not very far into Torry). Has large back garden which is maintained on a weekly basis by the Association. Also, cleaners come in weekly to clean the stairwells, etc. Security entry and each flat has its own letter box.
Heating / shower is included in rent, so you can blast the heating in the winter and not worry about cost! Pre-pay electric meter and I am around £4 a week in electric.
Living room is spacious. I have a dining table and corner suite in room and still have ample space. Cupboard in room that can fit hoover, ladder, etc. Overlooks Victoria Road.
Bathroom has walk in shower and cupboard space in boiler cupboard. Shower is a power shower.
Bedroom with large built in wardrobe and shelve. Overlooks harbour and Market Street. Can fit a large doubel bed and multiple other furniture so fairly roomy.
Kitchen has room for fridge freezer, washing machine, cooker, etc. Six cupboards and shelving and 5 drawers.
Radiators in all rooms apart from hall.
Council tax is £82 per month and rent is £257 but this includes your heating and shower.
You are allowed to keep pets and there is free car parking outside. Amenities which are close are Union Square Shopping Centre, Spar, Bakers x 2, Hairdressers x 3, PSDA shop, newsagents, etc. 5 bus services run through Torry with a bsu stop outside my flat wherevy 2 services run by every ten minutes.
Would be prepared to leave cooker and other items to make move easier fo both parties.
