Excellent opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager looking for a progressive and challenging role.

Thistle Aberdeen Altens is a large 216 bedroom hotel situated in the Altens area of Aberdeen. The hotel offers large conferencing facilities, 2 restaurants, busy bar and a health club with swimming pool. The hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment programme.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the F&B department, managing a team of 25 staff including the Meeting and Events Operations Manager and a team of 4 F&B Supervisors. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire your team, well ensuring they are closely guided and developed.

As Food & Beverage Manager you will be responsible for all the food & beverage outlets including the restaurants, bars, room service and meeting and events.

With an exceptional eye for detail, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards and ensuring consistancy of service and product. This is a busy operation so you must be experienced in managing a multi-outlet hotel and currently have an excellent knowledge for cost control. You will use your financial acumen to develop the management team to ensure targets are reached.

The ideal candidate with have 2 to 3 years previous experience as F&B Manager
