Our client is a blue chip organisation with several large bases across the UK. Due to new project growth, they are searching for a Progress developer to join their team.

This role has been created from exciting growth and new projects.

The role will involve working on existing systems.

Key tasks will include:

* developing existing systems

* full life cycle product development.

* technical support as and when required.

* design and analysis work

* take a lead on issue resolution.





Technically, the successful candidate will have a strong background in the following:

* Progress 4GL/ABL including smart objects

* Progress Version 9 onwards

* Database management
