It’s an exciting time to join Save the Children! As we celebrate our 90th year, our shops are enjoying their best time ever with strong sales and great publicity following the BBC programme “Mary Queen of Charity Shops”. If you would like to try a varied and challenging position within retail then this is the rewarding role for you. Tasks can include working with customers, visual merchandising and stock preparation. You will receive full training, but more than this, you will join a fun, enthusiastic and committed team of volunteers that will make it welcoming and enjoyable.

No retail experience is necessary! All you require is a friendly personality and the desire to do your best to help support the world’s forefront charity working for children’s rights and wellbeing.

A full induction will be given to all volunteers explaining how the store operates. Additional training, support and advice are always available from the Shop Leader, the Regional Manager and all the rest of the Save the Children team. The scope is limitless and we will endeavour to support any further training requests you may have.
