Just thought I should warn everyone on here about a money laundering scheme targeting people who are offering tutorial services. Someone will email you asking you to tutor their child or a young couple from France. They'll ask how much you charge, then ask for your address. They'll send you a cheque for a lot more than the money you charge and ask you to cash it and give the remainder to someone else. This is money laundering and you can be prosecuted for being involved in it. If you do get as far as giving them your address - which is not recommended - bin the cheque and inform the police.
