Supply Chain Manager
My client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join there established management team in there Aberdeen office. The company has experienced steady growth over the last 3yrs, they already have multiple offices strategically placed across Europe and are planning to have offices worldwide in the very near future.
To be considered for the role it is essential that you come from an Oil and Gas background, preferably either sub-sea, offshore or renewables.
Here is a brief outline of the duties & responsibilities;
·To establish and maintain list of approved suppliers
·To set with management the supply chain strategy
·To manage the procurement systems
·To manage the logistics function
·To manage company Travel
·To manage supplier audit requirements (with HSEQ)
·To establish standard subcontract
·To report on commitments to allow cash planning
·To ensure that all procurement comes though the system
·To provide projects with weekly status reports
·To monitor supplier performance
·To conduct tenders for high value items
·To set up key partnerships and frameworks
·To provide backup for invoicing
·To manage the FPAL system
Qualifications and education
Must have direct experience of similar function with a company with more than £50m revenue
Industry professional qualification or membership professional body
