Construction & Property Recruitment Ltd are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for one of Britain's Leading building construction companies with a turnover well exceeding 700 million pounds. The position would be to work in their headquarters in Aberdeen

As senior quantity surveyor, you will be fully responsible for various on site commercial and quantity surveying functions. You will closely liaise with the client, project manager and quantity surveying staff to ensure the project proceeds according to the client's specification, schedule and budget.

Some typical duties will include:
- Sub-contract procurement and management
- Sub-contract valuations
- Measurement
- Cost plans and reporting
- Cost/value reconciliations
- Interim main contract valuations
- Change schedule management
- Pricing compensation events/variations

You need extensive post-graduate quantity surveying experience, ideally having worked with another major UK contractor on major construction projects. Having previously occupied a senior or management position will be highly advantageous.
