Where better to write a dating ad than in the office, when I’m struggling for motivation to do any work? So coffee in hand, lets begin.

This is the first time I have tried something like this, but we are only young (ish) once. I guess I have been too busy concentrating on my career and other aspects of my life to notice I am lonely. Now that I have got the great job I want and I have settled in Aberdeen (over a year now) it’s time to find that someone special and settle down.

Firstly, let me tell you about me. I am 29, over 6 foot tall. Short blonde hair. Athletically built, I like to look after myself. I love to travel, my job has taken me all around the world, and I like to go on holiday a couple of times a year. I like getting out of the city and escaping into the countryside for a spot of relaxation at the weekends. Other than that I am a typical guy, I like the football, into cars in a big way. And of course going out to the pub whenever possible. I really enjoy cooking and food, so nice restaurants and experimenting in the kitchen are passions of mine.

What am I looking for? A very difficult question to answer! While looks are important, it’s not the most important thing. I am looking for someone who is fun and energetic. Someone who is passionate about the important things in their life. Having similar interests to me, but also different ones that she could introduce me to. Someone who is equally happy snuggled up on the sofa as going out for a wild night.
