YO! Sushi, the UK’s leading conveyor belt restaurant, opened our first store in London in 1997 and we now operate 54 restaurants in 5 countries. Based on the concept of a Japanese ‘Kaiten’ sushi bar, we offer a quality, fast and fun dining experience for all age groups. Due to our continuing success we’re expanding our operations and have a vacancy for an Assistant Manager at our restaurant in Aberdeen.

The Assistant Manager Job Role

• The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the entire operation of the unit, reporting to the General Manager.
• The Assistant Manager will directly supervise the Supervisors, Shift Leaders, Head Chef & Sous Chef, guiding them in operating their departments when on shift.
• The Assistant Manager will be specifically responsible for maintaining YO! Sushi’s standards of operation in the areas of food and service quality, profitability, cleanliness and maintenance, atmosphere and performance of team members.

The Candidate

• Previous experience as an assistant manager or supervisor in the catering industry and successful completion of YO! Sushi’s Manager in Training program
• PC experience (word and excel)
• Cash handling experience
• Demonstrated expertise in performing all positions within the restaurant
• Ability to work in a tremendously fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
• Positive Attitude and a great deal of energy
