My client, an HVAC specialist based in Aberdeen are looking to recruit an QHSE Co-ordinator.

The main aspects of the position will be to ensure compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 and OHSAS 18001 standards which will involve carrying out internal audits, raising and closing out of non-conformances, reviewing of processes and procedures, advising on Health & Safety matters and ensuring that risk assessments are in place for all work being carried out by company personnel.

The post holder will also be responsible for carrying out company safety inductions and organising competency training in line with individuals’ training needs plans. Additionally, input will be required into tender documents and ensuring that FPAL records are kept up to date and client feedback sheets are completed and submitted.

This position is very hands on and the successful candidate will require to have previous experience of maintaining a QHSE system. Preference will be given to applicants having qualifications in the QHSE field although drive and determination to ensure that the systems are implemented and improved upon is of greater importance.

Person Specification: Determined, completer finisher, pays attention to detail, people person, hands on approach, has drive and self motivated. Excellent salary on offer, depending on experience.
