I currently live in a one bedroom flat on the 5th floor in one of the Skyscrapers at Castlegate, Aberdeen. I am looking for something elsewhere as this was a flat me and my ex partner got together and I now feel it is time for a change now that he is gone.

Bathroom (finished) - New bathroom put in by Aberdeen City Council a few months ago. White suite, white wallls, aqua panels and flooring. Modern looking.

Kitchen (finished) - New kitchen put in by Aberdeen City Council a few months ago. Average size. New flooring also. Plenty of cuboards (6 large, 4 small). Space for cooker, fridgefreezer and washing machine.

Hallway (needs flooring) - Neutrally decorated. One storage cupboard.

Living Room (needs flooring) - Good sized room with 3 windows (2 large,1 small), extremely sunny room. Black floral wallpaper on feature wall (modern).

Bedroom (finished) - Neutrally decorated, decent sized room. Brand new carpet layed just last week...cream, cost 300 pounds. Built in wardrobe.

Unfortunately there is no garden but there is a veranda which can be accessed via the living room which is shared with the next door neighbour (who is lovely), this has just been painted and is perfect for hanging baskets and has space for a few pot plants. Another good point is that the flat also has an amazing view of the beach and side view of the harbour.

The flat is not fully finished but I will finish decorating/laying flooring if required.

I will consider pretty much any area but I work at the Children's Hospital and do not drive so anywhere within a half an hour walking distance or on a bus route would be ideal.

Since moving in last December I have had no problems within the building personally. I get on really well with my neighbours (3 ladies living on their own, 3 families and a couple in their late 20's). There is currently work being done on the building to improve it's appearence and security.
