I'm a 23 year old female that has had no luck in finding like-minded people/friends.

I have no interest in gossip or who wore what where. I do not read 'womens magazines' and I don't enjoy discussing how crap my friends are behind their backs; - if I have something to say to them, I will say it.

Needless to say I'm not a girly girl.

I'm looking for friends with similar interests to mine - preferably girls but boys are okay too (if ye don't mind eventually meeting my bf, he's very nice really, you'd like him).
If you read/write, you are in for sure. As well as reading and writing, I'm a gamer (Xbox, PC, Wii, handhelds) - do you even know how hard it is to find other gaming chicks? Very. And by gamer, I don't mean a person who plays solitaire or stupid kids games. We're talking FPSs & RPGs here.

I love watching movies but hate the majority of Hollywood flicks - I prefer foreign/independent/action movies esp Korean.

I also like Paintballing (again, few chicks even know what it is).

I find small talk kind of difficult and pointless - if ye can entertain me with conversations about sociology/psychology/politics/science/anything that would NOT be in the entertainment section of the news, then you're sorted (and by all those things, I don't mean that you need a degree in the subject, just that you have an opinion)

I guess what I'm saying is that I want some mental stimulation. I mean, nothing too strenuous - I do enjoy being silly too!
