My honda vfr 400, Great handling wee bike as i am sure you know, is up for sale due to the purchase of a new bike. I have owned it for over 2 years, my 1st road bike and been awesome to learn cornering on, and is pretty quick too!

It is a 1989 F reg with nearly 29k on the clock, was told this is a mix of miles and kms when i bought it due to the speedo convertor that was put on it. It has 12 months tax and a brand new mot, ready to run for another year.

It is black and gold with a republic of paint job, and looks a lot newer with the single seat conversion, as this gets rid of the nasty square rear lights too, modernising it. To match the paint, gold fasteners are on the bike, as well as gold centred discs. Also Gold footpegs and Clutch and brake levers are on it to match. It has a carbon tank guard and carbon brake line guards too, to stop the goodrige braided hoses rubbing. Samco hoses have been fitted and an art pro series II can which looks nice in a mirror finish. It sounds great and has a bsau road legal stamp. As i mentioned before it has a speedo convertor as like most nc30's it is an import, better than the stick on mph gauges! It is unrestricted.

It has recent sprockets front and rear, and a new chain, and an almost new rear tyre, just been to get it's mot down the road on it, but may take it out again if it is nice. The front tyre has plenty of life left too. Also it has just had the fork seals and oil changed. The engine oil was changed too.

The bad points are that they are a few very small scrapes on the lower fairing, that is difficult to see as down low, i never got them fixed as came with the bike when i got it. I did catch my boot on the rear seat pod and put a small scratch on that, and a few chips on the fairing behind the front tyre, but that is all, pretty mint condition for its age.

The pic shows the rear pillion seat, it does has a small crack which has been repaired, just needs touched up, but has been painted to match the rest of the bike. The other extras there are the brake light and rear passenger footpegs A full set of pads for front and rear is included, as it doesnt need them yet. Also there is a legal size plate to go with it as it comes with a small one.
