BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGERS

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Creating a successful new client database by sourcing and identifying
* Following up leads & winning new business for small to medium sized companies up to £1.5 million p/a
* Working closely with Account Managers and the Branch Manager to meet client needs according to standards
* Follow up new leads through from cold call stage through to bid stage
* Build new and strong relationships to then be able to arrange a meeting and sell the benefits of travel management and the company
* Establish a strong network of referral sources to drive sales

Business Development Manager Remuneration package:
* An exceptionally high basic salary with an uncapped commission structure, in your first year, you will have a realistic OTE £40K

Business Development Manager skills & attributes:
* Previous experience in relationship building and team development
* You will be a highly experienced and confident travel professional with a strong desire for sales, as well as being confident enough to go out and bid for new business
* Exceptional skills to lead and use initiative
* You should have the ability to influence and persuade with strong negotiating skills
* Good knowledge of travel management and must be highly self motivated, as well as customer focused
* Experience in business development and winning new business is paramount along with some knowledge of bid management and tenders
