Based at their purpose built offices in Aberdeen our client is a leading business consultancy specifically targeting the energy sector. The company aims to utilise best practice from their global experience within the Oil and Gas industry to provide the most cost effective solutions to meet their client`s corporate aims.
The Role - Sales Coordinator
Joining as Sales Coordinator you will have some prior experience of the sales and marketing principles as you will be required to provide sales support to the Sales Executives and the Sales Director with whom you will report to. Along with providing support to the sales team your role will involve arranging events and exhibitions, negotiating with suppliers in marketing and presenting ideas for innovation and improvement. Commercial awareness is necessary as you will write and prepare tenders and proposals. Additional responsibilities include customer facing activities such as administration and typing skills and a professional telephone manner.
To be considered for the Sales Coordinator position you must possess the following characteristics:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in any discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- 1 / 2 years experience in Sales and or Marketing
- Excellent organisational skills
- Negotiation skills
- Ambition with plenty of drive and self motivation
- A professional attitude with a hard working nature
- Passion for business
- Dedicated work ethic
