An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer within the Oil & Gas Industry in this Aberdeen based Engineering Management Consultancy.

Our Client:

Our client provides consulting services to a diverse national client base, specialising in serving the engineering and construction industry.

The Role:

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer you will provide specialist electrical & instrumentation technical support to the compliance and engineering services department.

Responsibilities:

• Review the instrumentation being used in start up and commissioning of large gas compressors
• Sample checking of control valve sizing and flow meter calculations
• Fault finding on electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
• Execution of preventative maintenance

Requirements:

• Degree qualified engineer with chartered status or equivalent
• Substantial knowledge in the areas of instrument and control of oil & gas processes
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas processes and equipment on fixed and floating installations

Renumeration:

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer you will be offered a starting salary between £40,000 and £48,000 per annum.
