Business Analyst - Aberdeen - Up to £35,000 - IT Background. We are currently looking for an experienced BA for our client based in Aberdeen. A strong IT Background as well as a familiarity with business improvement methodologies are essential.



The successful Business Analyst will become heavily involved in the delivery of systems solutions in line with corporate systems strategy. Working alongside a variety of engineering business units to implement new business systems, from the sourcing of business requirements, to the analysis of existing business processes.



The key role of the position will include:



* Working alongside existing relationship managers to help source project requirements from inception.

* To organise workshops to establish project processes and identify opportunities for system and process improvements and enhancements.

* To liaise between varied stakeholders to understand and document business requirements across business units.

* To produce business cases, including identifying the costs and benefits associated with requested changes.

* To work with internal stakeholders to deliver workstreams to provide optimum solutions.

* To produce complete and accurate business models including the process, data and organisation.

* To work with IT and Business to develop UAT plans.

* To be a leader of Business systems strategy.



To provide this we'll be looking for evidence of the following:



* Previous experience of Business Analysis.

* System Implementation experience

* Working alongside internal Stakeholders to define project requirements.

* Management experience of small projects or subsets of activities of larger projects.

* Business process management

* Process flow charting.

* Experience of Business improvement methodology such as Six Sigma.
