Picture the scene...

I was drunk, you were drunk. I stumbled past and heard the 'my friend thinks you're cute' line so I stop and realise that I think you are cute also.
One thing led to another and I showed you my very manly hairy chest...you seemed impressed! Then I thought I would crack a harmless joke about your Englishness and got a punch in the face for my efforts.
Don't worry, all is forgiven.
It would be nice to see you again so I could explain my attemps at humour.
