Most people who bought an original Xbox 360 may have experienced the Red LED Ring also known as the "Red ring of death" which is the consoles way of telling you it has experienced a hardware failure.

The revised Xbox 360's (which boasted redesigned heat sinks) are experiencing a different problem that of an E74 error which is the bottom right quadrant of the red LED ring lights up and an error message is displayed.
