Qc Inspector
Client :
Our high-end client is a market leader in the manufacture of Offshore drilling and production equipment for use by Oil and Gas companies world-wide.
Title :
Our client requires the service of a Quality Control Inspector for their Stoneywood plant, to join their experienced and highly knowledgeable QC team. The main responsibilities include the performance of inspection/tests and status marking of products processed in the Machine Shop and Test and Assembly Shop during Receiving and Shipping Processes.
Role :
Ensuring correct materials are used to produce relevant part.
Inspection of important machine parts
Ensuring all products have undergone relevant NDT/heat treatment operations
Processing of inspection and non conformance reports
Liaison with customer inspections representatives
Ensuring raw/finished material complies to Purchase Order Requirement
All other relevant Production/Manufacturing related issues with regards to QC
Ideally the candidate should have experience within a Trade Background (apprenticeship in an Engineering trade) or through work experience and knowledge of QC & Measure &Test Equipment Mechanical Inspection across different levels and should be able to read and understand Engineering Drawings. Previous experience in a similar kind of role will be an added advantage.
The selected QC Inspector will be directly reporting to the Quality Control Lead Inspector.
