My client is a lead manufacturer who focuses on providing our customers with the best solutions. They are currently looking for a Technical Sales Professional to effectively represent the company in all the commercial and technical aspects of the sales process. They are looking for someone to join them on a staff basis and manage and maintain existing customers and develop new business.

The successful candidate will become responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities, providing after sales support services to customers and offering a practical approach to problem solving.

You will be expected to acquire a detailed and thorough knowledge of the companies products, technical and manufacturing aspects sufficient to enable you to effectively and confidently advise existing customers and new prospects in the selection of most suitable products.

The Technical Sales professional will become responsible for benchmarking the company's competitors to identify potential improvements and creating an annual forecast for order inflow by customer and product class.

The successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively and regularly with management on all issues, which may impact positively, and negatively upon the company's business and market position.  You will be required to understand direct competitor activity, customer activity, market activity, new growth area, economic factors and other dynamics influencing the sectors the company operate in.

To be considered for this position you must have had experience in a similar role and a proven track record in Technical Sales.
